About the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire
The Club provides child care, after school enrichment, summer camps and athletic programs to children and youth from birth through age 18. We welcome children at over two dozen locations in Greater Concord, the Lakes Region, Kearsarge-Sunapee Region and the North Country.
Many, many Boys & Girls Club kids and alumni credit the Club with uncovering their strengths, talents and a desire to help others succeed.
Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire...
Nurtures kids with snacks and hot meals;
Inspires kids through programs and activities in five core program areas: education & career , character and leadership , the arts, health and lifeskills and fitness and recreation;
Motivates kids through connections with caring adults and peers;
Protects kids by giving them a place to go when they are not in school;
Enables kids by providing financial assistance to after school programs and summer camp.
We are a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
Children's safety is our highest priority. All our sites are state-licensed and follow strict protocols for staff screening and training.
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire:

Adults are not to be alone with a child in the bathroom with the door closed; in some instances a staff member may be required to assist a child with toileting.
All staff receive training on sexual harassment, sexual grooming and signs of child sexual abuse.
All staff receive and review policies and procedures, including the employee toolkit and policy manual.
All program staff are required to receive professional development each year.
