August 2, 2025 5:30 to 10 pm 200 March Road, Sanbornton

Catered by “Top Chef” contestant and James Beard Nominee Chef Chris Viaud’s Greenleaf Restaurant!

The Gala is one of our most important fundraisers, attracting movers and shakers from throughout the state. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region’s endowment trust, which was established by members of the community to ensure the future of Boys & Girls Club programming. Our nine Lakes Region clubs and early learning centers welcome 500 Lakes Region children each week. The majority are low to moderate income. We offer healthy snacks and meals, developmental screenings, mentoring, enrichment and more!

Set among the Vintage Racing Stable’s unique collection of classic vehicles, the Gala features a formal dinner, music, dancing, live auction, and more. This year’s featured vehicle is the 1935 Bugatti. Dress in your best Art Deco look as we celebrate the 1930s!

Mission-Driven

We are a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Safety-Driven

Children's safety is our highest priority.  All our sites are state-licensed and follow strict protocols for staff screening and training.  At the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lakes Region:

  • FBI Fingerprint Background Checks are conducted on every staff member over age 18 and every volunteer in direct contact with children.
  • Adults are prohibited from being alone with one minor. This includes all of our service sites, bus rides to and from the Club, mentoring services, etc.
  • Adults are not to be alone with a child in the bathroom with the door closed; in some instances, a staff member may be required to assist a child with toileting.
  • All staff receive training on sexual harassment, sexual grooming and signs of child sexual abuse.
  • All staff receive and review policies and procedures, including the employee toolkit and policy manual.
  • All program staff are required to receive professional development each year.
