Although things may look a bit different this year, we're still moving forward with our 4th Annual Mt. Sunapee Duck Drop. Please join us by sponsoring, purchasing ducks or donating.  Proceeds from this event will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire.

Please note due to COVID-19 we are unable to use the ski lift or have a gathering at the mountain this year, however our team is working on an alternate solution to make this event an event like no other! Know that no matter what 2020 throws at us, we will be "throwing ducks". So with that said, this year we are going to be throwing your ducks for you. This year will be like a raffle. Please stay tuned for what the prizes are going to be that you could win with your duck purchases. Click here to purchase your ducks

Meaningful Opportunities

Many, many Boys & Girls Club kids and alumni credit the Club with uncovering their strengths, talents and a desire to help others succeed.

Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire...

  • Nurtures kids with over 22,000 snacks and hot evening meals;

  • Inspires kids with over 47 different programs and activities;

  • Protects kids by giving them a place to go when they are not in school;

  • Enables kids by providing over $1 million in financial assistance to after school programs and summer camp.

Mission-Driven

We are a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Safety-Driven

Children's safety is our highest priority.  All our sites are state-licensed and follow strict protocols for staff screening and training.  At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire:

  • FBI Fingerprint Background Checks are conducted on every staff member over age 18 and every volunteer in direct contact with children.

  • Adults are prohibited from being alone with one minor.  This includes all of our service sites, bus rides to and from the Club, mentoring services, etc.

  • Adults are not to be alone with a child in the bathroom with the door closed; in some instances a staff member may be required to assist a child with toileting.

  • All staff receive training on sexual harassment, sexual grooming and signs of child sexual abuse.

  • All staff receive and review policies and procedures, including the employee toolkit and policy manual.

  • All program staff are required to receive professional development each year.
